Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP)
Waterproof, dimensionally stable and ideal for Chicago basements, kitchens and rental units. Click-lock and glue-down systems.
Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT)
Stone- and tile-look vinyl with optional grout lines — the durability of vinyl with the appearance of tile.
Quartz Vinyl Flooring
Rigid quartz-core vinyl for high-traffic residential and light commercial spaces where impact resistance matters.
Laminate Flooring
High-durability laminate installed with the correct underlayment, expansion gaps and moisture barrier.
Hardwood & Engineered Flooring
Nail-down, glue-down and floating installations. Acclimated on site, racked for natural variation, and finished with matching trim.
Subfloor Prep & Leveling
Self-leveling compound, patching, plywood repair, squeak elimination and moisture testing before anything gets installed.

On-Site Estimate — $200
A detailed on-site consultation and project estimate is $200. If you choose Kuzbyt Construction for your project, the full $200 is credited toward your project total.

Flat subfloor, quiet floor
We check flatness against the tolerance the manufacturer requires and correct it with leveling compound or sanding. This is what separates a floor that stays tight from one that clicks and gaps in year two.
Acclimation and moisture control
Chicago swings from humid summers to dry, heated winters. We acclimate material on site and use the right vapor barriers — critical for below-grade slabs and older two-flat subfloors.
Transitions and trim done right
Thresholds, stair nosings, reducers, quarter round and base shoe are cut and fit so the finished floor looks intentional at every doorway and edge.
